气动增压泵动力源为压缩空气，要求气源洁净，颗粒要求在5um以下，一般工厂气源比较脏，如果不经过滤直接接到泵上，长期使用，泵会长期积污，会导致单向阀失灵、密封圈磨损严重。

安装时驱动气源好使用PU风管，原因容易安装，操作方便，管内不会生锈，如果使用金属管，安装前好用压缩空气吹扫，避免焊渣 吹到换向阀内，将换向阀卡死。气动增压泵可以垂直安装或水平安装，在条件允许的情况下，好垂直安装，垂直安装能延长密封件的使用寿命。
